I am still getting used to my new "normal", re: work schedule. Everything is shifted by 45 mins to 1 hr later than it used to be, so by the time I catch my breath for the bloggie, it's almost noon.

So, I've finally figured out that we live in the Marine 1 airspace when it heads to pick someone up at the WH.
I wish I could be happy about who they are picking up.

Afternoon, comrades. A short day on the trolley for Your Loyal TriSec.
Allah is to be praised today....I don't think I told anyone here that I applied for the General Manager's job here at Old Town Boston. While I didn't even reach the second round of candidates, my resume DID find its way into the hands of our Regional Manager.
He just reached out to me...essentially saying that I wasn't going to be a candidate for GM, but there are other roles out there and he'd like to see where I might fit in.
And that's how you make a successful career change, folks!

Sorry that I haven't been here in a while. Still trying to find my own luck in job prospects. It can be tough when you are somewhat introverted and don't have a wide network. In the field I am in, it's who you know that's more important to getting into the door than what you know. I was busy last week between my current work (which is still temp with no benefits) and going to NAB New York. it would be nice if my dream could come true and I won the Mega Millions jackpot and no longer had to work, and maybe I could be one of those people helping the left since we don't have enough of them to counter the money coming from the Koch Brothers, Shelton Adelson, the Mercers, etc.,etc.
