A Small Ray of Sunshine

Senate and House congressman working into the wee hours of the night finally agreed on a nearly $2T package of economic relief to help the country during this time of crisis. As I sit here, I find myself contemplative. I am trying not to stress, and that's difficult. Reaching out to friends and asking them how they are doing has been a comfort to me.

COVID-19 Response, aka: Stupid is as Stupid Does
Author: BobR    Date: 03/18/2020 13:34:00

Italy - which has seen 7% of its citizens who contracted the illness die from it - is warning the world "Don't be like us!" The question remains to be seen - will we heed their advice?

As of this writing, the number of infections worldwide has surpassed 200K. China accounts for 81K of those, and 3100 of the deaths (just slightly more than Italy, who had less than half as many infections as China). China has "flatlined" in terms of new cases. The rest of the world is still on the rising wave.
