Hahaha, ya’ll thought Velveeta was going to write about football, didn’t you? Why would I do that when there is a HORRENDOUS INJUSTICE IN THE WORKS? I speak of the illegal, immoral, and incomprehensible impeachment of the greatest president ever.

Picked-Up pieces of Trisec's Mind

'Good Morning.

Once again, random tidbidts - a concept I shamelessly steal from Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe....from time to time.

The RepubliQanon Party.

What a difference 6 months makes. What a difference 4 weeks make. 4 weeks ago, exactly 4 weeks ago, I had the displeasure of writing about the events -- the insurrection -- on the Capitol building and the attempt to overthrow our government. It was an attempted coup.

The March of the Beast
Author: BobR    Date: 2021-02-03 13:00:00

There are a lot of things we can blame on #45. He has done more to destroy the norms of government and society than any occupant of the White House before him. After 8 years of Obama "scandals" (tan suits! mustard on burgers! OMG!!!), the orange turd crawled out of the toilet and lowered the bar so much an ant couldn't limbo beneath it.

The attack on the Capitol on Jan 6th would seem to be the ultimate culmination of the depravity of the previous administration and its cultists. The obscene violation of the very core of our democracy by self-titled "patriots" was sickening and - in retrospect - entirely predictable. Despite it being turned up to 11 the past 4 years, this has been much longer in the making.

It started with a wink and smile, as the Gipper proclaimed "there you go again" as a non-sequitur to anything for which he didn't have a good response. He pushed it along with the proclamation that the 9 scariest words were "I'm from the government and I'm here to help". This was the point where the Republican party began its shift from the party of Nixon, where the EPA and Medical Insurance was born, to a party that saw federal government as part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

Muse on Ask a Vet
Author: TriSec    Date: 02/02/2021 12:38:27

Good Morning.

Well, the lamestream weathermen forecast a "Fake Blizzard" here in extreme eastern Massachusetts.

Oh, that rain/snow line isn't very far; the next town north of here is Lexington, and they got nearly 14 inches of snow. But it crept far enough inland that out my front door there's just about three inches of slush lying around. But I digress.

You GO Girl. Please!
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 01/31/2021 14:23:49

Velveeta is thrilled to write about one of her new besties, Marjorie Taylor Greene. We spoke last night over the phone and dished like Middle School girls about all sorts of fun things: who’s cuter Josh or Madison, which 9mm fits our hands without ruining our manicures, favorite foods, super bowl, how rich and strong Donald is and so much more. As it got later and later and we got very giddy, we ended our evening call around midnight by making list of people that should burn in hell. We had a lovely time.

In the late 80's three of the islands of Samoa were declared National Park - Tutuila, Ofy and Ta’u.
